Ingredients You Need To Bake Black Forest Cake

  • 2 ⅛ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • ¼ cup cornstarch

  • 3 cups heavy whipping cream

Steps To Bake A Perfect Cake

  1. First thing first, preheats the oven to 175 degrees Celsius.
  2. Take two nine-inch cake pans, grease and flour them properly and cover the bottoms with waxed paper.
  3. Take a large bowl and combine flour, baking soda, cocoa, baking powder, 2 cups sugar, and salt.
  4. Now add eggs, oil, one tablespoon vanilla, and milk to the mixture prepared at step no. 3. Beat the mixture precisely until well blended.
  5. Now empty the batter into equal halves in the prepared cake pans.

  8. Take a 2 quart saucepan and combine cherries, reserved juice, cornstarch, and 1 cup sugar in it.
