How Denny Strickland Promotes His Music

promotes music

Despite the crisis that has plagued us for the past year or so, the world of music continues to be very present in our lives. So much so that you may even be determined to try to make it your profession in the future. Do you dream of that day when your group sells millions of records, fills stadiums in its wake and has fans all over the world? Today it is just an illusion, but who knows if in a few years it will come true as long as you work towards it.

Denny Strickland, the man who combines country music with hip hop, knows a thing or two about promoting music. Denny has been named by Rolling Stone as one of the Top 10 Artists to Watch and has more than 30,000 active listeners on Spotify. His song, I Got the Sauce, is a breakout hit and has become very popular throughout the country. It stands to reason that he’s doing something right when promoting his music, and he has just a few tips to share.

Have passion for what you do.

Love music above all things. Show the world that you like to play and / or sing and that there is nothing more important to you right now. Ah! And don’t forget that the greatest show of affection towards music is to respect it at all times.

Bring out your talent.

If you don’t have talent, it will be very difficult for you to achieve your goals. Not everyone is suitable for all jobs and being a musician was not going to be less. If you don’t sing well or if you don’t know how to play an instrument properly, your place may not be here.

Be patient and become strong in difficult times.

The road to success is full of bad times, potholes, problems and situations that will make you think about sending everything to hell. It won’t be easy to get to the top and you probably won’t do it right away either.

Make good music that surprises.

It seems obvious to say it, but if you don’t make good music you will eat your nose in this complicated world. Heal it a lot with your lyrics, look for a sound that identifies you and try to do things that are far from the usual. If you dedicate yourself solely to replicating what other groups are already doing, it is very likely that no one is interested.

Take care of your image.

In a world where we are saturated with information, it is important to work on your brand (or that of your group) and try to control everything that is said about you on the Internet. Try to flee from scandals and controversies that take the focus away from what is truly important, your songs.

Know the environment.

There is no use being the best musician in the world if you are not able to find a niche in the industry. Before making the final assault you must be aware of how, when and where to do it. Surviving in this ‘jungle’ is only available to the strongest and the smartest.
