Okwu launched their new budget smartphone which they called Omicron .

Physical overview –

At the front there is a 5.5 inches Full HD Display with 2.5D glass on top of it and coupled with 5 Mega pixels front selfie shooter . The navigation buttons are not back lids .

At the bottom there is a normal USB port with a small micro phone receiver and from the bottom to the whole sides there are metal design with a chamfered edges .

At the left side of the device there is nothing .

But at the right side of the device is having two sets of buttons namely – power button and the volume rockers .

The omicron also got the 3.5mm head phone jack at the top which is also good .

At the back of the device there is a 13 mega pixels rear camera with dual tone LED lights coupled with the fingerprint scanner which is placed right above the Okwu’s logo .

Display and Battery–

Omicron comes which FHD IPS Display which have 480 pixels per inch pixel density and with 3000mAH non removable battery which gives more than a day’s backup .
RAM & Storage-

The device comes with only one storage Variant which is 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be Expand upto 64GB.
Camera & Processor-

The Omicron comes with 13Mega pixels rear camera which is coupled with Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) technology and a 5Mega pixels front shooter with a selfie flash . Under the chest the Device  hides the Mediatek 6737T  having 4xARM Cortex A53 which is clocked at  1.5 GHz quad core processor.

Omicron also have a fingerprint scanner which unlocks in just 0.1 seconds and which is a much needed sensor in now a days smartphones . Plus it’s a Dual 4G VoLTE device and comes with Android Marshmallow with it’s custom Skin. The Omicron is priced at 10,499 INR .
