Self Care Affirmations to Fall in Love with Yourself

Care Affirmations

You might recall that we often say ‘it doesn’t matter or ‘it’s not a big deal’ whenever we try to talk about our mental health and frustrations. Initially, it seems okay, but is it actually? According to psychologists and psychiatrists, suppressing our emotions with humor or sarcasm is a harmful practice. Self Care Affirmations can help here.

Self-care affirmations are a way to fall in love with yourself again.

We suppress our emotions and don’t let us process the trauma inflicted by a certain incident, person, or thing. We should ideally build mental fortitude and resilience to get out of the trauma.

To be honest, we do self-harm to ourselves more than anybody else. We sabotage our feelings. It suppresses the inner child in ourselves and makes us rigid from the inside.

Self-care is often considered selfish. The truth is, self-care is taking charge of our own emotions and processing them the right way. Positive affirmations help us to cope with the negativity in life. Also, it motivates us to keep going despite all the adversities

9 Self Care Affirmations Everyone Should Say

1. Life is not perfect; it is beautiful

No matter how much society tells you that your life should be perfect for making it a happy one, you shouldn’t listen to them. Remember that everybody wants different things from life. And nobody’s life is perfect.

So, instead of trying to make it perfect, you should try to enjoy your life as it is. The present is the only truth. Tell yourself to be happy at present. Life is not a rat race, but it is about appreciating the beauty of life.

2. I am enough for myself

You are enough for yourself. Our surrounding is always on a mission to let us on. But remember the times you were in pain and how you survived from it. You are stronger than you can imagine. You are enough for yourself. Take charge of your own emotions and life.

Remind yourself that you have the power to go through tough times. And you will survive.

3. I am kind to myself

Be it the rat race of life or the societal pressure that tells you are not doing enough, we always end up being hard on own selves. Be kind to yourself. Take care of the inner child in you. Wind off from a hectic day. Do whatever makes you feel happy, unapologetically.

Treat yourself with respect and care—schedule time from your busy life to spend with yourself. You are unique, and you should cherish that.

4. I am beautiful, confident, and strong

Of course, you are. When you look inwards in your life, you will be amazed at how many adverse situations you have survived. Know that you are exceptionally strong.

You are a confident person, and of course, you are beautiful. We all are beautiful in our own unique ways. Don’t let anybody convince you otherwise. Cut out negative people from your life.

5. I deserve great things

Nobody in this world deserves bad things in their lives. Don’t underestimate yourself. You always deserve good things in your life. You deserve to be happy. You deserve to have a partner that understands you. You deserve love, care, and all the great things in life.

But, you also need to remind yourself that not everybody gets everything. So, if you don’t get something that you desire, it’s not actually your fault. You need to learn to let unfortunate things loose.

6. I draw my own boundaries

This is probably the most important self-care affirmation that you need to follow to fall in love with yourself and take care of yourself. No matter what other people say to you, boundaries are healthy, and you should learn how to create to keep your sanity intact.

Never feel guilty about your boundaries and take them casually. Instead, you should draw a line in everything that bothers you and protect yourself.

7. I am doing my best

Everyone works at their own pace or manner. So, don’t let anybody tell you that you are not doing enough. Only you know your capacities and boundaries. Work at your own pace. If you feel tired or suffocated, take breaks.

There is nothing wrong with not working every time. In fact, it is a healthy choice to take care of your mental and physical health and give your best, but not beyond your limit. Don’t burn yourself out.

8. Asking for help is normal

Asking for help is normal. You should never think that you will do everything on your own. To be honest, you can’t. We are social creatures, and we live off of coexistence. So, if you find anything hard to do by yourself, don’t hesitate to ask for help.

Remember that it doesn’t make you less powerful or capable. Also, help others in their need, but don’t push your boundaries.

9. I love my body

With fashion brands telling us to maintain a perfect body and remain in shape, we all face insecurities about our bodies. If you want to cherish who you are, you have to accept your body as it is.

It doesn’t matter what your skin color is or how much weight you have put on in recent times; you are always perfect. Cut out the people or try to talk it out with people who bully you regarding your body structure. Your body is beautiful, and you should admire it more often.

Conclusion

No matter who you are or what you have accomplished, you deserve all the good things in the world. Self-care allows us to be more understanding of our own needs and stop caring about what others think of us. I think this blog will help you practice self care affirmations. Love yourself, celebrate yourself!
