The Clarks Hotels & Resorts enters Dechu with Clarks Exotica

Clarks Hotels & Resorts has opened Clarks Exotica in Dechu, Rajasthan. The brand expands its foothold in the desert and targets the affluent leisure market. They want to achieve maximum occupancy by the end of the calendar year 2023.

India’s burgeoning middle class and increased disposable money have aided the rise of domestic and outbound tourism. According to one research, by 2028, Indian tourism and hospitality would generate US$ 50.9 billion in visitor exports, up from US$ 28.9 billion in 2018. The travel market in India is expected to grow to US$ 125 billion by FY27, up from an estimated US$ 75 billion in FY20. Rajasthan has always had a tremendous influx of both domestic and foreign tourists. The state is primarily reliant on tourism, with 40% of its inhabitants directly or indirectly connected.

Clarks Exotica is a magnificent campground with 40 luxury premium Swiss tents that are fully furnished with modern conveniences and cater to a variety of vacation demands. The campgrounds are located within the Thar Oasis campsite, which is the most popular in the Thar Desert region. It is specifically created for travelers who, in addition to camping, desire to participate in a variety of other activities. A desert safari, picnic, bonfire, camel ride, village stroll, supper on dunes, desert sports, and stargazing are all available at the campground.

The rooms offer magnificent décor and regal furniture, ensuring that guests have an unforgettable experience in the Thar Desert. The Bridge, a multi-cuisine restaurant on-site, mixes flavours and sensations from across the world. Along with the restaurant, the campground offers visitors particularly tailored eating experiences such as bush breakfasts, picnics in the woods, lunches by the oasis, and romantic nights beneath the stars. There is also a luxury spa on the site with well-trained masseurs.
