TiEcon Kerala is hosting a DesignCon2019 on 28th and 29th of September 2019, at Karapparambu, supported by Avani Institute of Architecture. DesignCon2019 is designed with the desire to create outstanding design possibilities, connecting all genres of creative people. It is the most interactive design conference in Kerala, where differences are harnessed to challenge convention, spur innovation and discover original solutions that render creative and unique designs.

The program intends to connect and form a mutual bond of interest between all genres of creative people. Experts and known personalities from a variety of fields will be invited to talk as keynote speakers, putting forward their stories of success and development. The experiences they share, we believe, will be of great help and support to the budding artists who are looking for the first stepping stone towards their dream.

Designed and conducted at a single venue, the conference offers multiple platforms to showcase the different types of art forms by display or through discussions and healthy debates on relevant topics. We also hope to make an open call to all design houses to display their works on panels, creating a multi-level designer exhibition, renting out panels to display.

One parallel track along with the plenary session on ‘Design’ will be 4 to 5 Mentoring Master Classes (MMC) of 45 minutes duration each on managing a start-up company on selected subjects of relevance to young architects who are running their own practice for the past 5 years.  MMCs will be ‘How To’ sessions on topics like building a team, pricing your services, managing environment, preparing a financial budget and likewise.

DesignCon2019 will be graced by experts and leaders from the realms of Design and Architecture, entrepreneurs, students, artists, photographers, fashion designers and professionals in every sphere of the design career.
